Growing up in Kentucky, Jim Duff counted the legends of traditional Country music as his heroes. Artists like Waylon Jennings, Kris Kristofferson and Townes Van Zandt made a huge impact on the young songwriter and helped shape his sound. However, music was not his only talent and life took him in another direction for a while.

"Track of the Day"

I am sending this message out to thank GarageBand.com for choosing my song, “Rita” for the “Track of the Day” in the blues-rock category. “Rita” will be featured on March 19th on the blues rock home page. This tune was chosen as a result of all the great reviews received last week. “Rita” also won awards in the following categories.
